Occupational Health Specialist

The Occupational Health Service (OHS) is a multi-disciplinary organisation that provides comprehensive services to all NICS Departments and their Agencies. As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will work as part of a team to provide a range of occupational health services to clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional advice on workplace health related issues
  • Developing and implementing health promotion and health protection programmes
  • Contributing to policy and procedure development

You will be supported by a multi-disciplinary team, including Occupational Health Nurse Specialists, an Occupational Health Therapist (Mental Health), Occupational Health Technicians, and Business Support staff.

The purpose of the post is to ensure that OHS is responsive to the existing and emerging healthcare needs of the NICS and client bodies.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the OHS team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality occupational health services.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
