Job Opportunity: Trainee Paraplanner

Recruit UK is working with a leading Chartered financial planning practice to find an experienced Administrator to join their team in Burnham-on-Sea. This role offers a chance to progress your career and develop your knowledge in Paraplanning duties.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in financial planning administration to take the next step in their career. As a Trainee Paraplanner, you will provide essential administrative support to financial advisers, ensuring smooth operations within the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of client packs and issuing appointment notifications
  • Managing client data, updating records, and maintaining compliance documentation
  • Liaising with clients and third parties to gather necessary information
  • Processing new business applications and managing the workflow
  • Supporting advisers with diary management, meeting arrangements, and preparation of client-facing documents
  • Optimisation of back-office systems and maintaining compliance standards

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a financial planning or IFA environment
  • Excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills
  • Proficient in using financial advice software
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
