About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to lead our kitchen team at Dine Contract Catering. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our clients in the business and industry sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new and modern menus, taking inspiration from the latest food trends and seasonal ingredients.
  • Work closely with our Area Manager to develop theme days, promotional and marketing opportunities that exceed our clients' expectations.
  • Ensure all relevant budgetary controls are achieved and maintained, while implementing and adhering to all required food safety and health and safety standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality and service standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Requirements
  • Previous experience at Kitchen Management level, alongside a Food Preparation qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to self-manage and work as efficiently as possible.
  • Ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team to perform and achieve goals.
  • Flexibility to support all services on site and adapt to changing priorities.
