Senior Geoscientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geologist to join our team at IGNE in Hamilton, Scotland. As a Senior Geologist, you will play a key role in leading our ground investigation projects and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

• Lead and manage large-scale ground investigations, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
• Develop and implement risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working practices.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of project activities, including data management and reporting.

• BSc in Geology or related field.
• Proven experience in ground investigation, with a focus on site management and risk assessment.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Qualifications in CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, and EUSR1.
• Driving license and ability to travel to site locations.
