Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential care settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the daily routines of young people, including personal hygiene, meals, and activities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and resilience of young people
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans and support strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our residential care settings
Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends
  • Experience working with young people in care or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a small team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • DBS clearance at enhanced level
