About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Community Neuro Rehab Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing efficient and effective patient-focused care to service users within primary and secondary care settings.

The West Cumbria Physiotherapy Service provides specialist assessment and rehabilitation for patients with a wide range of long and short-term conditions. This role offers an opportunity to work within a team that values robust appraisals, preceptorship, clinical and managerial supervision, and encourages Continuing Professional Development.

Main Responsibilities
  • To practice in accordance with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Rules of Professional Conduct and The Health Professions Council Regulations.
  • To provide a holistic care package tailored to the individual's needs, with the aim of developing maximum function and improving quality of life.

Person Specification
  • CSP recognised Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • Evidence of attendance at relevant post-graduate courses.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development/Lifelong Learning Activities.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £37,338 to £44,962 a year, per annum pro rata, and a range of benefits including robust appraisals, preceptorship, clinical and managerial supervision, and Continuing Professional Development opportunities.

This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
