Job Title: Controls Engineer

Role: Controls Engineer

Location: North London

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to work for a leading food manufacturer in North London. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical skills and experience in control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of processes and systems within workshops, plant rooms, and production environments.
  • Conduct health and safety inspections and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including fault finding and diagnostic work.
  • Train and coach engineers to develop their skills in PLC and control systems.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and contribute to the development of manufacturing hardware and software.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure effective contract management.
Requirements:
  • Strong electrical skills, including diagnostic ability and experience with Siemens S7.
  • Ability to understand electrical diagrams and perform fault finding.
  • Experience in control systems and manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
