About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and experienced HR professional to join our People Team at Butlin's. As a key member of the team, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the experience of our 1200+ strong resort team.

Reporting to the Resort People Partner, you'll work closely with leaders to ensure fair and consistent approaches to employee relations instances. You'll also be responsible for reviewing and auditing cases to identify areas for continuous improvement.

With a proven track record of executing, advising, and coaching on all people-related processes, you'll be an expert in disciplinaries, grievances, performance improvement plans, and other workplace issues. You'll demonstrate our core value of 'We Care for Each Other' by providing exceptional support and guidance to our team members.

You'll be a key contributor to developing strategies to support and retain our team, using data and insights to inform your decisions. You'll also stay up-to-date with legislative changes and communicate updates to the wider resort to ensure compliance and consistency across all departments.

About You

We're looking for a passionate and motivated individual who is either experienced in ER (preferably within a customer-facing business) or is newly qualified and looking for their first full-time role. As part of the People Team, you'll have a confidential and professional approach to your work, while role-modeling our Butlin's Values.

You'll be supporting a resort with over 1200 team members, so the ability to confidently communicate at all levels is essential. You'll also need to offer guidance and advice on a variety of topics relating to ER and wellbeing.
