Lighthouse Green Fuels, a part of Alfanar Energy UK, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team on a contract basis at our site in Teesside. This role will provide cover for a team member who is away and is expected to last around 2-3 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with the centralised Supply Chain department.
  • Assist the accounts department with purchasing-related activities.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services with correct quantity and specification.
  • Prepare required documentation, including expenses sheets and supporting invoices.
  • Maintain site procurement plans and records, including POs and supporting documents.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards and processes in purchasing and procurement.
  • Responsible for maintaining audit documentation.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in O&G, renewables, construction, or heavy engineering.
  • Understanding of business agreements, contract terms, and conditions.
  • MRP/ERP experience.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a driven attitude.
  • Comfortable with change and working under time pressure.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
