About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Private Client Tax Specialist to join our dynamic team in Northampton. As a key member of our Private Client Tax department, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality tax advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of tax advisory services, including drafting detailed reports and providing comprehensive advice to clients.
  • Manage work in progress and billing for the department, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert guidance on a range of private client tax issues.
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience: Broad and strong technical knowledge in Inheritance Tax, Estate Planning, Trusts, and International tax matters.
  • Skills: Proficient in report writing, with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to mentor and develop team members, take ownership of projects, and ensure quality control.
  • Work Ethic: Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Team Player: Strong ability to work as part of a wider team, with excellent interpersonal skills.
