About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Arcadis, a global leader in sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for projects.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with project costs, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals, tenders, and business cases, ensuring accurate cost and commercial information.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, cost management, and project delivery in the energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, NEC and FIDIC forms of contract, and commercial management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Membership or working towards a professional body such as RICS, CIPS, CICES, or IOB.
  • Experience with project management software, such as MS Project, and cost management tools, such as SAP.
