**Job Responsibilities**
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Test Engineering Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing test plans and infrastructure for ASIC IC bring up and characterization.
- Collaborating with test software developers to define and test software for ASIC debug/characterization.
- Analyzing test results, diagnosing issues, and revising test setups and procedures to improve measurements and isolate functional and performance issues.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Strong understanding of RF design and testing using various optical and electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital communications analyzers, vector network analyzers (VNAs), optical power meters, and power supplies.
- Ability to write lab automation scripts using Python.
- Flexibility, quick learning, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with the physics of semiconductor devices (emitters and photodetectors) is a plus.
