Senior Education Officer

Harris Hill Executive Search is delighted to be working with The British Society for Haematology to find a highly skilled Senior Education Officer.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and delivery of the Society's education programmes, including online and in-person events, online learning resources, and e-learning platforms. They will be responsible for maintaining an overview of Society education projects, providing input as required, and working closely with the Committee and professional conference organiser.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the Society's education programme, including online and in-person training sessions and coordinating the development and maintenance of online education resources.
  • Maintain an overview of Society education projects and provide input as required.
  • Work closely with the Committee and professional conference organiser to ensure the successful delivery of education programmes.
  • Develop and maintain the e-learning platform and ensure that the education pages of the website are kept up to date.
  • Deal with phone and email queries related to education and events.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience in project management, event logistics and management, both online and in-person, and will be happy working with third-party suppliers, as well as volunteers, with the ability to work with a diverse range of people at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are key, as is experience of CMS and updating websites. Experience working with e-learning platforms/LMS would be beneficial but is not crucial.
