Senior or Principal Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior or Principal Planner to join our Hertfordshire office. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage diverse projects, build client relationships, and contribute to business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare written fee proposals and conduct planning history research
  2. Undertake site visits, appraisals, and provide clear planning advice
  3. Manage pre-application advice requests, planning applications, appeals, and submissions
  4. Coordinate project teams and provide mentoring to junior staff
  5. Develop client relationships and actively participate in business development initiatives
  6. Represent clients at planning committee meetings and inquiries
Requirements:
  1. RTPI Chartered Planner or eligible for membership
  2. Full UK driving license (exceptions considered)
  3. Strong understanding of planning work, commercial projects, and consultancy business
