Job Overview

Pure Fitout is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team of professionals in delivering high-quality commercial and bespoke fitout services. As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and delivery of our projects, utilizing your expertise in joinery and CNC machining to produce exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper and safe loading and unloading of raw materials.
  • Perform tasks such as drilling and milling steel, utilizing gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
  • Read technical drawings and understand specifications, making necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
  • Organize, record, and submit all details of work carried out on relevant work orders for weekly timesheets.
  • Take instruction from the workshop manager and carry out tasks in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in a safe working order, adhering to the internal quality system to ensure a high standard of production.
  • Operate within the health and safety policy and guidelines, maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
  • Perform any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by the workshop manager.

Requirements:

  • Strong skills in CNC machining and joinery.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
