Job Summary

Deluxe Media is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Audio Editor to join our Audio department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for a variety of duties, including tracklay, clean up & sync of dialogues for mix, full technical QC of material, and assisting with the day-to-day running of the Data Operations department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Audio Operations Manager on a daily basis and be aware of all materials needing to be delivered from the facility via various digital platforms.
  • Provide support to all the mix theatres & edit suites, and make sure that all audio materials are made available in a timely manner for the allocated work schedule.
  • Perform principle audio editorial duties, including tracklay, clean up & sync of dialogues for mix.
  • Conduct full technical QC of material before it is despatched to clients.
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the Data Operations department & general file management duties.
  • Help maintain and update key documentation, such as project trackers, QC sheets, editorial training documents, ingest & etc.
  • Archive requested audio material.

Requirements

  • A keen passion for audio & film.
  • Basic Avid Pro-Tools knowledge and Mac user experience.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel & Word skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Accuracy and clarity in both written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight delivery deadlines.
  • Capable of working in a team and being a very strong team player.
  • Available to work long hours and weekends to meet clients deadlines as requested.
  • Willing to learn new technology and take on new responsibilities as and when needed.
  • Adaptable and dynamic approach to a fast-paced environment.
