About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Designer to join our team at Harrison Scott Associates. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of innovative packaging solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Leadership: Provide design direction and guidance to junior designers, ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and delivering design solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Design Development: Utilize your expertise in CAD design software, including Kasemake and Artios, to create innovative packaging solutions that meet client briefs.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to ensure seamless design-to-production processes.

Requirements

  • Design Experience: Proven experience in packaging design, with a strong understanding of corrugate packaging and design principles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD design software, including Kasemake and Artios, as well as experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and practices, with the ability to analyze business needs and develop design solutions that meet those needs.
