About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a General Adult Consultant, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team and providing high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive care to patients with general adult mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Participate in the Consultant On Call rota and provide out-of-hours cover.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise.
  • On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months.
  • Section 12 approved or within 3 months.
  • AC status or within 3 months.
  • Knowledge, skills and experience relevant to this role.
