About the Role
First Bus is seeking a skilled and reliable driver to join our team in Bristol. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on our buses, ensuring a high level of customer service and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive buses safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to passenger inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition
- Operate the bus's onboard systems, including the ticketing and payment systems
- Work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Valid PCV license and up-to-date CPC
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
