About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at ETS Technical Selection. As a key member of our mechanical engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the design and manufacture of products at various stages throughout projects.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will provide support to other members of the mechanical team as required and work closely with our customers to ensure that specifications are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use customers' CAD data to produce drill file information for fixture manufacture.
  • Revised and update existing specifications and drawings to incorporate requested design changes from engineering, manufacturing, or quality assurance.
  • Design new parts or assemblies to meet design requirements using 3D CAD systems.
  • Liaise with the end customer to ensure that specifications are met.
  • Work with existing suppliers and source new suppliers as required.
  • Support the operation of the CNC and Pacer machines as needed.
  • Operate workshop equipment, i.e., lathe, mill, etc. if required.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years' experience in a similar role.

You should have experience in both two- and three-dimensional design software, including SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD package.

A valid passport and a full driving license are also required.
