We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our team at Attega Group Limited. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of work on domestic and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure customers are contacted first thing with ETA and keep them updated on any delays.
  • Carry out visual risk assessments on each job as required and raise any concerns with the line manager.
  • Provide feedback on parts used in line with procedures to complete a task, ensuring that parts are pre-paid when dealing with end-users.
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times and discuss recommendations with customers on-site, including service plans and upgrade options.
  • Carry out monthly stock takes on van stock or stock stored at lockups.
  • Carry out on-the-job training as directed by the line manager and participate in personal training courses as required.
  • Liaise with customers on-site as required and keep them informed of any issues or updates on their expectations.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of electrical or mechanical engineering experience and be electrical competent.
  • 2 years of experience as a service engineer/maintenance engineer.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in the wastewater/water industry (desirable).
  • Proven experience working with sewage treatment/pump stations required (desirable).
  • Clean driving license.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
