Premier Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced and proactive NPI Engineer to join our client's committed and professional Electronics NPI team. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a UK Market leader in the design and manufacture of bespoke solutions for a diverse range of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical lead for all aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Developing and operating a formal NPI process and recording system
- Providing support in the technical development of custom product solutions within the technical team
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance for Electrical applications and formulating technical aspects of BOM's
- Liaising with Customers, suppliers and other internal departments as required
- Assisting with authoring product specifications and instructions as well as with after-sales support services
- Managing the preparation of technical reports in support of projects and to other departments as required
- Operating as an integral part of the team gaining approvals and certification of new products
- Guiding and ensuring compliance with relevant Electrical legislation and advising on the integration of legislation within the company BMS
- Developing and undertaking product tests and records as required
Requirements:
- Degree qualified or above in a relevant electronic engineering discipline
- Understanding of Agile or Prince2 systems
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to understand and work with electronics associated with Battery Management Systems
