We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced ENT Specialty Doctor to join our dynamic and friendly ENT team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients, participating in elective and emergency work for adult and paediatric ENT conditions, and contributing to an out-of-hours on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in elective and emergency work for adult and paediatric ENT conditions, including clinic sessions, theatre sessions, and ward rounds.
- Contribute to an out-of-hours on-call rota, providing emergency cover for ENT conditions.
- Adequately supervise and support junior doctors, ensuring their professional development and well-being.
- Deliver clinical and quality targets agreed with clinical teams and commissioners, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is a leading provider of acute hospital services for around half a million people in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and mid Wales. Our main service locations are the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in Shrewsbury, which are located 20 minutes' drive apart.
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full Registration and a licence to practise with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Minimum 4 years postgraduate experience, including minimum 2 years in ENT.
- General Medicine experience or A&E experience.
