Job Title: Principal Network Engineer

Job Summary:

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Engineer to join our team. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network solutions, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network solutions for Cloud, Hybrid, and On-Premise environments
  • Develop and maintain network architecture documentation
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
  • Participate in technical review events and provide input on system design
  • Engage with clients, peers, and vendors to ensure technical requirements are met
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving networking technologies and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cloud, Hybrid, and On-Premise environments
  • Strong knowledge of network security, including Next Generation and Web Application firewalls
  • Experience with network protocols and technologies, such as IPsec, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, QoS, MPLS, VoIP, etc.
  • Cisco certification (minimum CCNA)
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and concepts
