As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the care team, ensuring that our residents receive person-centered care and support.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, including staff management, budgeting, and quality assurance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the home is compliant with all relevant regulations and standards, including the Care Standards Act and the Mental Capacity Act.
- Staff Development: Provide training and development opportunities to staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: QCF L5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care Services or equivalent qualification as recognized by Social Care Wales.
- Experience: Proven management experience within a relevant care setting, including experience of working with people with complex needs.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and stakeholders.
