Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a PTS Ambulance Care Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and transportation services to our patients in the North Yorkshire region.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the safe transportation of non-emergency patients to and from appointments at hospitals, treatment centers, and other places of care.
  • Ensuring timely transportation and patient safety at all times.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care and transportation services.
Requirements
  • Must be able to successfully complete the training course for the role of PTS Ambulance Person.
  • Ability to carry out manual handling, including the lifting of patients and equipment.
  • Full driving license with no more than 3 penalty points for new entrants to YAS or a maximum of 6 for existing YAS employees.
  • Able to work as part of a team and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
