Job Title: Research Associate/Assistant – Plant Tissue Culture

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate/Assistant to join our team at Green Bioactives Limited. As a key member of our R&D team, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of plant cell lines producing our target natural products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support in the development and improvement of plant cell lines.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of experiments involving plant tissue culture.
  • Initiate and scale plant cell cultures from cuttings on solid media and in liquid suspensions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results using our electronic laboratory notebook.
  • Collaborate with the wider laboratory team to develop, validate, and improve plant tissue culture methods and general laboratory operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in plant tissue culture and lab-based biological research.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of plant biology and computer literacy.
  • Commitment to laboratory safety and best practice.
  • BSc/MSc or equivalent in plant science, biotechnology, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in statistical analysis and experimental design.
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
