Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Sureserve Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out joinery work on social housing contracts for central heating upgrades, solar PV installs, and battery storage installs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake joinery work on central heating installation and electrical installation sites.
  • Perform all necessary joinery tasks for the installation of central heating, solar PV, and battery storage systems.
  • Work in conjunction with central heating installs, removing and refitting kitchen units, lifting and relaying floorboards, boiler and rad pads, pipe boxing, and building and framing cupboards for hot water cylinders.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Health and Safety requirements and other relevant legislation.
  • Act as a representative of the Company and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Industry knowledge and experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Essential time management skills.
  • Able to assess own performance and follow training direction.
  • UK driving license.
  • Sufficient mobility and flexibility towards hours and place of work.
  • Clear focus on quality of service.
  • City and Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent qualification.
