Senior Optometrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Optometrist to join our progressive Optometry Team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

• Deliver a comprehensive range of optometric services to the highest standards of quality and care, including advanced extended role clinics and core optometric services.
• Work closely with the Principal and Lead Optometrists to develop and implement clinical strategies and best practices.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to Optometrists, Medical staff, and Allied Health Professionals in the management of complex eye conditions.
• Participate in the delivery of highly complex specialist extended role optometric services and a comprehensive range of core optometric services.
• Develop and implement training programs for Optometrists and other healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.

• Advanced clinical skills and experience in optometry, including extended role services.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
