Join Spicy Minds Ltd as a UX/UI Designer

We're a fast-paced, mission-driven startup developing solutions to improve mental health for GenZ consumers and their families, particularly those with neurodivergence. We're seeking a skilled UX/UI Designer to craft engaging mobile app experiences and marketing websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to bring user insights to life
  • Translate user needs into improved retention and outcomes through data-driven design
  • Collaborate with the founder, product manager, and engineers to establish market, problem, product, and language fit

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of UX/UI experience with a strong portfolio
  • Proficient in Jira, Figma, and Squarespace with a willingness to learn
  • High emotional intelligence with excellent communication skills
  • Degree in Design, UX/UI, or equivalent with a passion for user-centered design
  • Experience experimenting with Gen AI and a willingness to learn
  • Comfortable navigating uncertainty in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Right to work in the UK with a DBS Background check
  • At least 2 days per week in the Bristol Office with the team

Desirable:

  • Lived experience with mental health challenges, neurodivergence, or close personal connection
  • Experience working on a successful Gen Z app with a strong understanding of user experience design
  • Conducted user research with a focus on user-centered design
  • Understanding of user experience design for LLMs
