Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team at a Precision Engineering firm based in Wetherby. The successful candidate will have a strong background in CNC Milling and programming, with excellent skills in reading complex engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and program CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components
  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings to ensure accurate production
  • Develop and maintain CNC programs to optimize production efficiency
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve production issues and improve processes
  • Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of CNC machines and equipment

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming
  • Excellent knowledge of FANUC controls and programming
  • Strong understanding of CAD/CAM software, preferably Autodesk Fusion 360
  • Experience working with Heidenhain controls and programming
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £32,000 - £34,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Overtime opportunities available, paid at Time + 1/3 on weekdays and Time + 1/2 on Saturdays
