About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Scania (Great Britain) Limited. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will play a critical role in supporting our vision of becoming the best in class for our industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Health and Safety in delivering our health and safety strategy
  • Develop and review risk assessments and safe systems of work for our core operational activities
  • Monitor our accident and incident reporting system and conduct investigations as required
  • Create weekly and monthly statistic reports and present findings in the weekly health and safety update
  • Monitor existing and new contractors, including their conduct and credentials
  • Review, improve, and create health and safety processes and systems of work
  • Consult and liaise with the workforce and senior management on health and safety matters
Requirements
  • NEBOSH certified, ideally working towards your NEBOSH Diploma
  • Organised, able to handle multiple objectives and track key action points
  • Diligent, with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, able to present and communicate changes, statistics, and updates to stakeholders
  • IT literate, able to learn and manage internal health and safety systems
  • Willing to travel, visiting and building relationships with our UK network
