Job Summary:

CV Technical is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Mechanical Design Engineer Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for the full design process of new projects, from concept to installation and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new plant equipment for heavy industry applications, ensuring structural integrity and mechanical efficiency.
  • Creation of project-specific documentation and manufacturing drawings for production, focusing on accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and ease of manufacture.
  • Produce plant layouts and diagrams suitable for project tender, showcasing our company's expertise.
  • Provide support for the design's life cycle, from concept through to installation and service, ensuring seamless customer experience.
  • Support customers (internal and external) by providing specialist advice and solutions, leveraging our company's expertise.
  • Design and develop new products based on customer requirements, driving innovation and growth.

Requirements:

  • Approximately 5 years of engineering design experience, with a strong background in mechanical design.
  • Experience working with structural steel work is highly beneficial, but not mandatory.
