This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled procurement expert to collaborate with a leading global manufacturer in the food and beverage industry on a temporary basis.

As a vital member of the Procurement team, you will gain extensive exposure to the full spectrum of procurement management processes, directly influencing business outcomes by executing key initiatives across various product categories.

In your role as a Procurement Specialist, you will apply your extensive knowledge and best practices to assist the Logistics Procurement Lead in executing the category strategy for the UK and Ireland. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Engaging with internal stakeholders
  • Strategically sourcing goods and services within specific logistics sub-categories
  • Managing supplier relationships
  • Overseeing various operational and tactical procurement activities

You will utilize procurement tools effectively and advocate for B-Corp Accreditation. This position requires advanced competencies in tender management, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation, along with a thorough understanding of the contract lifecycle.

A detail-oriented and inquisitive approach is essential, as you will continuously seek enhancements in sourcing and product delivery. A proven history of successful contract negotiations is highly advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, a solid grasp of financial principles, and an understanding of logistics and supply chain dynamics are also critical.

The role may necessitate occasional travel for meetings and supplier engagements.
