About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced UK VAT specialist to join our national UK VAT & Customs Duty team of approaching 40 people. The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role acting as a trusted advisor to a varied portfolio of clients in the local region. We are open to receiving interest from those either at Manager or Senior Manager level in their career.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a senior VAT resource in the Thames Valley office and work with the VAT unit partners and the local office partners in developing VAT services and client relationships in the region.
- Provide VAT technical support to other service lines within Crowe such as our outsourced tax and accounting services business.
- Focus on marketing and business development in order to raise the profile of both Crowe and our VAT services in the external market. This will involve both regional and national activity.
- Develop and lead a team of VAT specialists, with a focus on people development and leadership skills.
