Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Trade Counter Assistant and Driver to join our team at Eurocell Group Ltd. As a key member of our branch operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and ensuring the smooth operation of our trade counter and delivery services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to new and existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Responsible for trade counter sales, achieving sales targets, and confidently communicating product knowledge to customers.
  • Pick, load, and deliver products to customers via Eurocell's 3.5 tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
  • Responsible for route planning, safe driving, and maintaining the Company vehicle clean and well-maintained.
  • Support the Branch Manager with actions and activities on time, in full, and comply with Health and Safety, company policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure excellence in customer service, operational standards, and Branch sales targets are achieved.
  • Support the delivery of sales targets while developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Assist with the delivery of branch operations, including warehouse and stock management, front-of-house cleanliness, and point-of-sale.

Requirements:

  • Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
  • A hands-on customer-focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers.
  • A commercial approach to drive sales and maximize margins, while ensuring our customers always walk away happy.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and use own initiative.
  • Confident IT user, with experience of MS Office and industry-standard software, such as SAP.
  • A full and valid driving license is essential, and a FLT license could be a distinct advantage.
  • Previous branch stock take experience could be a distinct advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a small team and on occasion, alone.
  • Experience within a similar role ideally in a trade/builders merchant/retail, glazing, or uPVC environment could be a distinct advantage.
