Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team at Royal Lancaster Infirmary. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients across a variety of clinical areas, including community working.
Key Responsibilities:- Hold a specialist caseload on the rotational clinical area, supporting Occupational therapists and the therapy team with their caseloads.
- Assess, treat, and goal plan with patients presenting with varied physical conditions.
- Work alongside our Discharge to Assess service, facilitating safe and effective care and hospital discharge.
- Travel to a variety of venues throughout the community to deliver patient assessments and attend meetings.
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy approved by the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
- Registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
- Ability to travel and participate in manual handling tasks and therapeutic handling.
