As a key member of a diverse research team, you will assist the Principal Investigator in executing a research initiative focused on the impact of menstrual cycles on Multiple Sclerosis. This project is supported by a prominent health organization and aims to explore critical questions surrounding this condition.
Core Responsibilities:
- Securing ethical clearance and managing project documentation.
- Identifying and recruiting study participants for various experimental protocols.
- Facilitating patient engagement and involvement in research activities.
- Gathering data through surveys, functional assessments, and neurophysiological methods.
- Sharing research outcomes via academic conferences, peer-reviewed publications, and educational resources.
TEAM CONTEXT
This research endeavor is conducted within the Department of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation, in partnership with leading healthcare institutions. The Research Fellow will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising academics and clinicians from various fields, including physiology, neurology, and physiotherapy.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or be nearing completion, with proven expertise in neuromuscular physiology, Multiple Sclerosis, or female health.
