Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Support Worker to join our dynamic team at Spire Southampton Hospital. As a Theatre Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team in Endoscopy, Theatre, and Recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the multi-disciplinary team in Theatres by providing an efficient and sensitive supporting role.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our valued patients, escorting them between wards, departments, and theatre suites, and delivering their meals.
- Handle equipment, medical records, specimens, and lines with precision and care.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker, preferably with NVQ level 2/3 qualification.
- Previous experience within a theatre environment is desirable, but training can be provided for a suitable candidate with demonstrable experience in a hospital setting.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
