Empowering Learning - Behaviour Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are working in partnership with a primary school in Long Eaton to appoint 2 x teaching assistants to support with behaviour onto permanent contracts.

About the Role

The school is looking for individuals who can build relationships with children with challenging behaviours, engage pupils within lessons, and act as a positive role model. The successful candidates will possess an empathy towards pupils from challenging backgrounds and have a resilient attitude.

Main Duties
  • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis
  • Leading academic sessions around maths and English
  • Liaising with senior staff in school around progress of the children
  • De-escalating situations where challenging behaviour has arisen
Requirements
  • Full-time and permanent contract
  • Salary between £19,500 and £22,500 dependent upon experience and qualifications
  • Driving license essential
