Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at Informa PLC. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, post, reconcile, and analyze financial data for specific areas, including management accounts, balance sheet accounts, and indirect accruals.
  • Reconciliation: Perform timely reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to an excellent standard, ensuring they are fully supported and prepared in accordance with our framework and policies.
  • Mid-Month Duties: Assist with mid-month tasks, including books costing, three-way manual match, covering central email inboxes, checking coding on supplier invoices, and reconciling direct profit and loss accounts.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with ad hoc duties as needed, including covering workload for others if required.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Ideally AAT Level 4 Qualified or an early ACCA/CIMA student (AAT Level 3 qualified will be considered if experience is a good match).
  • Skills: Proficient skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook are essential. SAP knowledge is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience: Able to work independently and as part of a team, consistently hitting deadlines and effectively managing priorities.

  • Competitive Salary: A pro rata'd salary of between £28,000 pa and £34,000 pa DOE + 5% bonus.
