We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Manager to join our team at E.ON UK. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial and strategic objectives of the E.ON Next Pillar.
As a Strategic Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading the analysis and accounting of energy revenue, cost of sales, and gross margin delivery. You will work closely with our commercial teams to provide commercial models and analysis to support leadership decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the analysis and accounting of energy revenue and cost of sales to ensure rigorous gross margin accounting practices are embedded.
- Supporting the preparation of forecast, target setting, budgets, and 5-year plans, including gathering inputs through engagement with the business, reporting draft and final outcomes, and commentary.
- Collaborating with commercial teams for the production and monitoring of growth and portfolio dynamics.
- Working with the Data Team to improve Gross Margin data integrity, accuracy, and granularity, ensuring the use of quality structured datasets to provide business insight and visibility.
- Providing financial advice and insight to business leaders to improve gross margin.
- Adopting a continuous improvement mindset to drive process improvements, collaborating with the Transformation team to digitalise and automate activity.
- Experience modelling financial and non-financial data.
- Highly numerate and able to articulate complex ideas at Executive level.
- Capable of solving complex business problems.
