The Role: Financial Risk Actuary - Group Reporting

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Risk Actuary to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial stability and resilience of Legal & General by providing expert analysis and insights on various risk exposures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across different business units, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to quantify and monitor key risks, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports for senior management, providing insightful analysis on emerging risks and trends.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory developments in financial risk management.

Qualifications:

  • A strong academic background in actuarial science, finance, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in financial risk analysis and modeling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of success in a similar role.
