Job Opportunity:

A leading manufacturing business in the Ferndown area is seeking a skilled Systems Accountant to join their team. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional products and services, this company is a market leader in their field and is experiencing continued growth.

This role will play a vital part in the team, overseeing transactional finance elements and working closely with the finance team to improve accounting systems, processes, and automation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with system-related issues and seek proactive resolutions
• Identify opportunities for improvement in accounting systems, business processes, and automation
• Support the team with handling manual billing duties
• Oversee invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Process credit notes on the system
• Support with processing financial transactions
• Additional duties as required by the wider team

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have good experience working in a finance department and previous experience handling invoicing, billing, and credit notes. They should be highly proficient with finance systems and able to identify opportunities for improvement. Specific exposure to SAP and Salesforce is desirable. Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset are essential.
