We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Services Officer to join our team at Stateside Foods. As a key member of our Technical Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful launch of new products and promotional products.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with NPD, Quality, and Production Departments to ensure product specifications meet food safety, legislative, and customer policy requirements.
- Assist with sample submission documentation, maintaining Interspec, Product Database, and Customer Systems.
- Work closely with NPD Technologists to ensure packaging compliance with current legislation and communicate changes to artwork when required.
- Attend NPD Meetings as needed and provide technical support to the Technical Services Manager.
- Ensure Product Database is accurate and up-to-date, generating correct outer case labels and barcodes.
- Maintain the Product Index for all products and perform general Technical Service duties as requested.
- Assist with customer specifications for new products and ensure existing specifications are updated with changes.
- Complete customer alerts in a timely manner and provide cover for the Technical Administrator role as needed.
Candidates should have experience working in a similar role with knowledge of Customer Specification Systems and excellent IT literacy. A background in ICT or Food Science is preferred but not essential.
