As a key member of our audit and accounts department, you will be responsible for leading audit assignments, preparing statutory accounts, and providing business advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and the HAT methodology.
* Preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, and conducting financial analysis for clients across various industries.
* Providing business advisory services, including tax planning and support for business start-ups, acquisitions, and mergers.
* Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.
* Assisting in the training and mentoring of junior staff, sharing knowledge and expertise in audit and accounting standards.
* Utilizing the full suite of Iris Software, integrated with MyWorkPapers and HAT, to streamline audit and accounting processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

* ACA qualified or ACCA candidate (support provided for those self-studying ACCA via HAT).
* Proven experience in audit and accounts preparation within a practice environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS102) and IFRS.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
* Proficient in using Iris Software and MyWorkPapers (experience with HAT methodology is an advantage).
