Job Title: Graduate IT Engineer

Glasgow Prestwick Airport is seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate IT Engineer to join our team. As a Graduate IT Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation and development of all hosted IT/electronic systems and associated infrastructure at Glasgow Prestwick Airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support to all users across the site.
  • Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of internal network infrastructure, flight information systems, check-in and airline ticketing systems, access control systems, and other key systems/infrastructures.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the IT team and external contractors to resolve IT-related issues.
  • Support the IT team to deliver longer-term projects relating to system installation, development, and maintenance.
  • Ensure all systems are comprehensively documented and information properly archived to meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience of working on or with Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Azure/Office 365, and general server administration and desktop support skills.
  • Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
