Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of care professionals to provide high-quality care to residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, nutrition, and daily activities, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Provide emotional support and foster meaningful relationships with residents, understanding their unique preferences, hobbies, and abilities.
  • Support residents in pursuing fulfilling lives, tailored to their individual needs and goals.
  • Uphold and maintain high standards of care within the home, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all residents.
  • Perform senior-level duties, including staff supervision, conducting appraisals, record-keeping, medication administration, care planning, audits, and liaison with healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
  • A compassionate and professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a commitment to achieve it.
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and the use of technology for care management.
  • The ability to remain composed and guide team members in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts in alignment with the needs of our residents.
