Casual Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at the Gregory Group. As a Casual Driver, you will be responsible for vehicle loading and unloading, interacting with customers, and communicating with our transport team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
• Providing excellent customer service and interacting with customers in person and over the phone
• Communicating with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
• Attending regular training sessions to maintain and improve skills

Requirements:

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence
• DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card
• Experience with fridge trailer operations (desirable)
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good geographical knowledge and ability to navigate
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
