About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Real Estate team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects, managing client relationships, and leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Project Management Commissions, ensuring end-to-end service delivery and meeting client objectives.
  • Act as the primary client interface, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage commissions of varying scale and value, up to £40m in value, and advise on complex projects.
  • Develop and implement project governance, processes, and systems to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Plan and manage project finances, monitor performance, and apply performance management techniques to improve project outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication between the project team and clients, ensuring timely and effective information exchange.
  • Produce formal project progress reports and ensure project case study, photograph, and project CV files are up-to-date.
Internal Management Accountabilities
  • Staff management: input into the formal management of Assistant Project Managers or small project management teams.
  • Knowledge management: ensure key information and learning generated from each project is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.
  • Financial management: ensure prompt client invoicing and utilize FMS to monitor project financial status.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
